Drawing by Charles Bargue. The leg of Marcellus, (Germanicus) statue on display at the Louvre in Paris.

The statue is in the posture of contrapposto. Bargue has chosen to reproduce the relaxed leg, which is in slight flexion.

The leg is slightly bent and highlight the main element of this subject: the knee joint.

This plate is a reference for studying the anatomy of the leg with the knee joint and muscles, visible in the thigh or calf.

Plate lithographed on gray-blue tinted fine art paper, 350 g, ideal for charcoal or graphite copying.

Choose the two-side lamination with transparent film to protect your plate from moisture and stains. It gives a greater durability. The protective film on the drawing is mat and without reflections.
